Lesson 2: Discipleship 103 (What Is A Call and How Am I Called)
You must believe that God really does speak to you in this matter of His call. Throughout, no truth stands any clearer than the truth that God "speaks" to His people. They always know that it is God, they know what He is saying, and they know how to respond. In other words, this is not just an academic exercise or merely a "theological truth." It is a relationship with God, and He really does call each of us to Himself for His eternal purposes. This truth is foundational to our study of being Called and Accountable! Now lets explore this more and remember it's our responsibility to answer our call.

Lesson 3:
Discipleship 103 (When Am I Called and How Do I Live Out The Call?)
God is God! When He Speaks, He also ensures that you will hear and will know His Call. Your heart will be revealed in your response to Him. "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day." John 6:44
As we study the lives of those God used significantly, we notice that it is when we are in the middle of God's activity in our world that we most clearly know the call of God for our lives. Let's look at a most significant verse to help us understand how this is found in the life and witness of Jesus...
Click on the slideshow below and let's see what God reveals:
The call of God is a call to an exciting relationship with God for the purposes He had for us from before the foundation of the world. God calls us by causing us to want to do His will and enabling us to do it. He first calls each of us to be His child by faith in Jesus, His Son. In that relationship, God has provided all we need to live fully with Him. That relationship will always involve us in His redemptive activity in this earthly world. In that relationship, God Himself will work through us here on earth. As God works through us in our world, we will come to know Him and grow toward Christlikeness. A Christlike character is God's preparation for eternity with Him. What a plan and what a purpose God has for each of us!! May we respond to Him as He works in us and through us mightily in our daily lives.
Called and accountable - God's greatest of privileges given freely to every believer!!
After these three lessons we pray that you now know in your deepest being that God has called and equipped you to do His will according to His purpose, He did not leave you to do it on your own. Amen!

This concludes module III: Call and Accountable. You now know that God calls you unto Himself for His will and He equips you to do the work through the Holy Spirit. God is interested in a relationship with Him more than in your skills and abilities. The call to salvation is also the call to be on mission with God to reach the lost in the world
